Terry Fallis is best known for his satirical novels of Canadian politics. His first novel, The Best Laid Plans, won the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. The High Road was a finalist for this medal. The Best Laid Plans was crowned the winner of CBC Canada Reads as the “essential Canadian novel of the decade.” The Best Laid Plans is in development as a six-part CBC TV miniseries. Terry’s third novel, Up and Down, was published in September 2012, and it debuted on the Globe and Mail bestsellers list. Terry is hard at work on his fourth book.
