Pelham Library is looking for a Summer Children’s Program Coordinator.  This position involves planning and executing already scheduled children’s programs for ages 3-16.  Other duties include inventorying and purchasing supplies, researching literacy and literature related summer themes, assisting in delivering the TD Summer Reading Club Program. 

Applications must be submitted to the Town of Pelham website.

Please note that if you are over 18, you must have a Criminal Record Check acceptable to us ready at the time of interview.

Volunteer Opportunities

At the Pelham Public Library, we welcome community participation through volunteer work. (See also FRIENDS GROUPS)

Our Volunteers

  • provide helping hands for special projects and programming
  • augment the library's collections and services through fund-raising
  • assist the Library Board and staff to convey the library's value to and in the community

If you are interested in helping with our special projects, call (905) 892-6443 and ask for Mel. Students interested in fulfilling their volunteer requirements are welcome. Please call to check if we have suitable projects available. Interested students can call any time to be placed on the volunteer projects list. All volunteers must fill out an application.
