Join Wendy Arscott, RSSW, BEd, MEd in looking at ways caregivers can alleviate situations with relative ease and simplicity.  Wendy is a counsellor, consultant and trainer with more than 20 years of experience. Please register ahead.

When this column appears in the Pelham News it will be August 7th and almost the last day of the summer children's programs. There will be one segment of Mad Science, namely Lights, Colour, Action, on August 12th and the end of the Summer Reading Club that same week. The Reading Club BBQ--children who signed up for the Club will get a free hot dog or hamburger and a drink--will be at noon on Friday August 15th. The only other event, which is open to both children and adults/seniors, is the Ice Cream Social and involves making ice cream in a baggie and then consuming the result. Delicious!

As we start the hiring process for the next Pelham Library CEO, the Library Board is seeking input from our community. Have your voice included in the process by filling out the following short survey. Thank you for your input.

When it comes to library service what does state-of-the-art mean to you?

Did you see an idea in a library setting that you want to share with us? We would like to send out a challenge to Pelham residents this summer - when you are travelling, visit local public libraries in other communities and snap a picture of something you think is awesome, fabulous, or state-of-the-art.
