Story

After years of uncertainty and extensive public consultation, Pelham is moving ahead with the reconstruction of the Maple Acre Library Branch in Downtown Fenwick. On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, the Maple Acre Advisory Committee approved Option A as the design for the new library facility.

Story

A moment of silence will be held at the next library board meeting on Wed., Jan. 27 for Stephanie Stowe, former CEO of the Pelham Library. Stephanie passed away last week. She served as CEO of the Pelham Library from 2001 to 2013. Under her guidance, the Pelham Library became known for its innovation. Children's programs increased, seniors' programs were established and the Heart of Niagara Author Series had its debut. She was proud of the increased use of the library under her leadership and of the awards won by the Pelham Library.

  • The calendar says it is Spring, even if the weather is slow in catching on.  Spring is traditionally a time of renewal or new life.  Hopefully you will have noticed a few signs of renewal in the library as well – this new section of the website being one example.  I hope to keep you up to date on some of the ongoing work of the Library Board and Administration.
