Pelham Public Library Book Sale
Books, DVDs, CDs, record albums, puzzles, magazines, audio books,
software, one-of-a-kind collectables and so much more for the best
prices you can imagine! Gently used donations being accepted now. (No
textbooks, encyclopedias, or magazines please.) Proceeds to the Pelham
Public Library. Tues., August 25 at 9:30 a.m. until Mon., August 31 at
1:00 p.m. Open During Library Hours. Sat. and Mon. are Buck-a-Bag
Days.
Beginners' Tai Chi
Classes led by Nancy Elkin, registered physiotherapist. Great for
improving balance, coordinating and overall movement. Please wear
comfortable clothes and soft-soled shoes. Session 1: Mon., Sept. 14,
21, 28 & Oct 5. 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. First of 3 sessions. $20.00 per
session. Please register ahead.
Twice Monthly Intermediate Bridge Classes
For people who have the basics. Volunteers will be on site to teach,
guide and act as partners. Ask for monthly schedule at front desk.
Wed. Sept. 16, 30, Oct 7, 28. 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Limited space.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Dental Implants & More
Dr. Peter McDermott will be here to answer questions and to talk about
the history of dental implants, different types of implant restorations,
crowns, implant dentures and bridges. Free but please register ahead.

Osteoporosis & You
Pat Malone of the Osteoporosis Society will answer questions and talk
about living with Osteoporosis and the different treatments available.

"Crime Time" Monthly Author Series
The Pelham Public Library in partnership with Scene of the Crime Books
is pleased to present Canadian mystery author Jean Rae Baxter. Join us
as she reads from her latest novel "Looking for Cardenio." Books for
sale and signing afterward. Free! Tues., Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
Secrets to Improving Your Photography
Award-winning nature photographer Peter Ferguson shares some of his
photography secrets. Learn to optimize your camera's capabilities.
Optional: Meet Peter at the pond at St. John's Conservation Area at 9:00
a.m. for a free nature outing. No sign-up necessary for the morning.
Sat., Sept. 19 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. $15.00. Please register ahead for
afternoon program.
