Summer Programs

Free TD Summer Reading Club for children and teens.  "Agent 007" is on
the case. Plus "Mysterious Fun for Everyone" with great programs for
children 3-12 and "teen only" events.  Highlights include "Mysterious
Mad Science," Castlemoon Theatre's "Looking for a Moose," Murder Mystery
Evening and tons more. Registration has begun.

 

Cooking with Seasonal Fruits & Vegetables

Volunteers from the Community Food Advisory will be here to do a cooking
demo with the freshest ingredients of the season that you can sample.
Tues. July 21.  2:00 - 3:30 pm. $3.00 Please register ahead.

 

Natural Allergy Relief

Suffering from ragweed or other common allergies? Julie from Healthwise
will be here to give us some tips on how to help relieve our allergies
the natural way.  $2.00 per session. Refreshments provided.  Please
register ahead.  Mon. July 27. 6:30-7:30 pm.

 

Toute Sweet Blended Ice Cream & Cake Demo

As seen on CH TV Morning Live! Kelly of Toute Sweet Ice Cream &
Chocolate in Jordan will be here with her special blended ice creams &
cakes to demonstrate some tasty ice cream desserts that you can sample &
make at home. $3.00.  Please register ahead.  Mon. Aug. 10.  1:00-2:00

Round and  Round: The Story of St. Catharines' Lakeside Park Carousel  

Annie Wilson, Culture Coordinator for the City of St. Catharines, takes
you through the twists and turns in the history of St. Catharines'
beloved historical treasure. Find out how the Lakeside Park Carousel
continues to delight for just 5 cents a ride thanks to a community that
has constantly rallied to help it survive and thrive. Cultural Services
is a division of the Department of Recreation and Community Services of
the City of St. Catharines.   Wed., Aug. 12 at 7:30 p.m.  Please
register ahead.
