Foot Care Clinic

Qualified Nail Technician, Tisha, will be at the Fonthill Branch, doing
foot care.  She will also be able to answer any questions about various
foot care issues including diabetic foot care needs. 

$20.00 per person and please schedule your appointment ahead with Tisha
at: 905-536-0943.  Tues., June 22 between 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m .

 

JFK:  Unsolved Mystery

Welland native, Randy Owen, returns to speak to the Single Bullet
Theory.  The accuracy of this theory becomes important to the timing of
the fatal shot and to the number of shooters. Owen has spent his life
researching the Kennedy assassination.  He has been a presenter at JFK
conferences and MC, presenter, and a member of the Medical Evidence
panel at the annual JFK Lancer conference in Dallas.  He has interviewed
numerous high profile people connected with the assassination and has a
collection of thousands of resources.  Wed., June 16.  7:30 p.m.  $5.00.

Plotluck:  Summer Adult Reading Program

The Pelham Library challenges you to broaden your reading selections
through the Plotluck Summer Adult Reading Challenge.  Pick up a menu
from the library or visit http://www.pelhamlibrary.on.ca/adults.php.
Five books and one short story is the goal.  Many thanks to The Cafe on
Main, Keith's Restaurant, and The Lazy Loon Restaurant and Ice Cream Bar
for their support.

 

Giant Book Sale

Great books at great prices.  Most items $1 or less.  Collectables,
puzzles, movies, software and much more!  Begins Tues., Aug. 24 at 9:30
until Sat., Aug. 28 at 1:00.  Open during library hours.  Saturday is a
buck-a-bag on most items. 

 

TD Summer Reading Club - Destination Jungle

Free program for wee readers, children, and teens.  Beat last year's
record of over 300 members.  

 

Children's Summer Programs @ Pelham Public Library

Bugs, reptiles, monkeys.it's a jungle out there!  Wild things,
Zumbatomic dance, Jungle Jiggles for Kids with the Wiggles!  Great
programs for children of all ages.  Download the full flyer on the
Pelham Public Library website.  Register and pay in person only.

 

Zumba  Gold-Fitness

Great for the true beginner, the active older adult, or those limited or
new to exercise. Have fun moving to the Latin beat while also learning
some easy to follow steps such as: Salsa, Merengue, Cha, Cha etc.
Mondays 10:00-11:00 a.m.  July 5, 12, 19, 26 Aug. 9, 16.  $30 per 6-week
session. Register ahead.

 

Computer Course:  Optimize Your Search Skills

Getting beyond Google.  Narrowing your search to find what you are
really looking for.  Finding images, videos, maps, news and books.  This
is a hands-on class.  Laptop provided for class.  You must have the
ability to use a mouse and have had some computer experience to sign up.
Thurs., July 8 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  $5.00.  Register ahead.
