Native Plants 101 

Eco Restoration Specialist Chris DiRaddo explains why using native
plants just makes sense. Chris will focus on time-tested native plants,
basic native garden design, and soil preparation.  Mar. 24, 2010 at 2:00
p.m.  $2.50 per person.  Please register ahead.

 

Blind Fate

Blind fate brings their unique sound to the Pelham Public Library.  The
band covers a wide range of styles from classic rock to pop to country
from the 60s to the present. The band has pleased audiences of all kinds
from kids all the way up to people in their 80s.  Sun., Mar. 28 from 2 -
3 p.m.  $5.00  Please register ahead. 

 

All Kids Can Read

Is your child having trouble reading?  Megan Milani, author of the 3
Habits of Highly Successful Reading Teachers, will guide you as to how
you can teach your child to read using her unique and very successful
method and approach.  The workshop would also be of benefit to parents
wishing to give their preschool and early years children a head start.
It is the quickest and most effective way to teach ALL kids to read.

Maintaining Your Native Species Garden 

Participants will learn how maintenance for native species gardens
differ. Fall preparation, spring clean-up, soil amendment and watering

Bee-Utiful Scrapbooking   

A fun workshop to get you started or to use for the first page in an
album. All supplies are provided. Minimum age is 13.  Cost is $8.00.

Nancy Elkin, registered physiotherapist, teaches these beginners'
classes. Great for improving balance, coordination and overall movement.
